FDA Examines Links Between Food Dyes and Hyperactivity

An FDA panel is currently examining if there are any links between food dyes and hyperactivity in children.  While the jury may be out on this, there are some scientific articles linking the two.  In my opinion, comsuming food dyes falls under the same category of advice I give everyone:  Stay away from man-made molecules!  If you can’t pronounce it, and you don’t know what it does, stay away from it.  I would advise parents who have hyperactive children to remove foods containing food dyes and see what happens.
